EDEN/SYNOT TIP ARENA - Slavia won the first leg of the Czech Cup – Ondrášovka Cup 1-0 thank to the only goal of the game scored by Milan Cerny. The first game of the new coach Frantisek Cipro ended well. In 16th minute Milan Cerny got to the ball in the penalty box and with the precise shot scored the winner. Slavia goalkeeper Martin Vaniak contributed to the win with a few of excellent saves, while once he was lucky when he saw Sionko´s shot from the free kick bouncing off the post and Vacek´s shot after the solo attack ending with a shot passing wide.   more »

OSTRAVA – Bad start to the game came out to be the crucial moment of the Slavia game away to in-form Banik. During the first 22 minutes Slavia defence made two mistakes which ended in two goals, and though Slavia worked hard in the second half to come back to the match, they scored only one goal by Petr Trapp. The first goal was scored by Vydra who capitalised on a mistake of Kopic and Hubacek in Slavia defence. The second goal was scored by Rene Bolf, who headed the ball in after the corner kick. SYNOT TIP ARENA/EDEN – It is a good news – Tunisian international Tijani Belaid restarted training with the team. „The treatment of the thyroid gland has been maximally effective, Tijani can train and play football with no limitations,“ Slavia Ondřej Zlámal spokesman said. „Tijani restarted training last week, on Monday he trained the whole training with the main squad,“ Slavia spokesman added.   more »
